Purpose

Collaborative Shift is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes information collected from visitors to Collaborative Shift’s websites and how that information is used.

Information Collected

Two main types of information are collected from visitors to Collaborative Shift websites. The first is information that visitors voluntarily supply by various methods such as submitting it into a form on a web page, or by uploading, mailing, or emailing documents to the University or its agents. Other information is collected automatically by various network and computer systems, including but not limited to the IP address, operating system, and web browser used to connect to our systems, the link followed to get to our website, and the time and day of the visit. Collaborative Shift websites also use cookies to add persistence and improve the quality of the user experience.

Various Collaborative Shift websites are hosted by the University and by third parties on the University’s behalf. Some of these sites may have their own privacy policies. Collaborative Shift websites may also contain links to non-Collaborative Shift websites. Collaborative Shift has no control over and cannot be held responsible for data collected by other websites or how it is used.

Release of Information

Collaborative Shift does not sell, trade, or rent your personally-identifiable information. We may release your information when required or allowed to do so by federal, state, or local regulations.

These controls include firewalls, encryption, authentication systems, anti-virus software, technical and physical access control, technical and physical monitoring systems, employee background checks, and security policy. While we do our best to maintain secure systems, we cannot guarantee the security of your information.

By using Collaborative Shift websites or other computing resources, you consent to the collection and use of information described in this policy by the University and its affiliates. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time without advance notice.
